Matta-Clark Artist Book
Inspired by Gordon Matta-Clark’s pioneering work in anarchitecture, I aimed to capture his boundary-pushing approach to architecture and art in my design. Known for cutting walls into circles and deconstructing spaces, Matta-Clark's work often redefined the very nature of architecture.
To reflect this in my design, I experimented with typography, using rules and fragmented elements to “cut up” the type, creating visual disruptions that echo Matta-Clark’s signature style. This approach not only pays homage to his innovative work but also captures the essence of his transformative impact on the field of architecture.
